The winners of each classification got a $200 garden coupon.

Shire President Cr Michelle Rich stated the SJ Garden Competition was held to identify the beautiful gardens within the Shire and motivate citizens to improve their own areas while reaping the health benefits of being active and outdoors.

“The four gardens are all very different, showcasing vibrant flowers, hardy locals, tropical fruits and stunning areas to unwind,” she stated.

“They all show what you can attain with a love for gardening and excellent creativity.

“The quality of entrants was wonderful, that made it a challenging task for the judges.”
